ABOUT THIS TOURNAMENT
In a first of its kind, the three Indian campuses of BITS Pilani have joined hands for an inter - BITS tournament where each campus would vie against the other two to secure the numero uno position. The format would be completely esports based with exciting games such as Clash Royale, COD-Mobile, Valorant and CS:GO on offer. The event would be held over five days, starting from the 18th of January. Organised jointly by departments from all three campuses , the tournament promises to beat the blues of a lousy 2020 and lay the foundation for a much happening 2021 season. Registration closes at Jan 15, 2020, 11:59 PM.

VALORANT
Valorant is a team-based tactical shooter and first-person shooter in which players play as one of a set of agents, with each one having unique abilities. In the main game mode, players are assigned to either the attacking or defending team with each team having five players on it. The event will be held in knockout mode. Semis and Final will be held in BO3 format whereas the rest of the tournament will proceed through BO1 format.
COUNTER STRIKE: GLOBAL OFFENSIVE
Counter Strike Global Offensive is a multiplayer first-person shooter in which a team of terrorists battle against a team of counter-terrorists, In Competitive mode of the game two teams of 5 are pitted against each other where the terrorists try to plant a bomb at either of the two sites(A or B), While the counter-terrorists try to prevent that. The tournament will be a knockout based tournament , all the matches until the Semi-Finals will be BO1 where the map will be chosen based on a veto process, The Semi-Final and the Final will be BO3.
CALL OF DUTY: MOBILE
The high-octane first person shooter game is guaranteed to thrill you to the extreme. Knockout mode would be followed, culminating in a round robin method for the top 4. The aim is to bag as many points as one can. Digging deep, teams would have to compete in a private match on deathmatch on 3 random maps, which switches to search and destroy for the top 4. On display would be a knockout tree to help the teams assess the situation better.
CLASH ROYALE
This real-time strategy game will be conducted in a lobby mode, with the knockout format being adopted for the final 4. The time duration would be 3 minutes, an extra minute in case of a draw. The player has to ensure that he/she doesn’t lose more than 4 times. The player with the maximum number of battle wins under his/her belt takes the trophy home.
